But there is too much wrong with the input methods. The tilt controls are not nearly accurate enough for most of the tight situations in the game. The remaining control schemes arent much help.
There is one with buttons to steer (they work well!) but no acceleration button... Only a brake button.
Unfortunately in this game tapping the brakes has the same speed halting effects as crashing headfirst into trees. So the brake is useless. :(
The only way to throttle your speed reasonably is to use a scheme with an accelerator button. With this in mind I tried a wheel scheme with both brake and accelerator buttons stacked vertically. The instant I tried to accelerate, I pressed the top button... Youd think that means "FORWARD" with the lower button being brake... But frustratingly, the buttons are reversed. worse yet is that the wheel covers a very small portion of the screen making its responsiveness a wildcard.
It is difficult to learn to navigate the corners an vehicles without a control scheme that is built well enough to handle the tasks presented
